An exhibition of ceramic forms exploring aerial views of northeast Victoria by Brenton Saxby at our upstairs gallery at The Potters Beechworth

Brenton's recent ceramic forms explore topographical and aerial views of northeast Victoria. Using sculptural stoneware clays, Brenton constructs the pieces over large curved plaster moulds. Dry glazes, stains and oxides work with the clay surface rather than cover it. The strong textural and tactile feel combined with the organic shapes make the work visually exciting.
